The kids said none of the food was hot. It was warm. Being that my daughter used to work here we know what times they switch out certain foods like the ground beef, steak, chicken, and the potatoes.. Not sure why the food was not fresh because we were there at 4:15. They said the Taco Bell that I normally take them to taste way better than this one. It’s best to find one that works best for you where you know the crewmembers and when and how they switch out their food. I encountered a really disturbing situation at this restaurant: there were maggots crawling out of the water drain in the dining area! It was absolutely disgusting. When I tried to inform a manager about it, he responded in an incredibly unprofessional manner, suggesting that the maggots might be in my food as well, and he used vulgar language. How can someone like this hold a management position? He then ended up kicking me out of the restaurant and jokingly referred to the maggots as his "new friends." It felt surreal, almost like a bad dream.
Every time we order from Taco Bell in La Puente, one or more items are missing from our order, and they never provide a receipt as proof of purchase. My kids love Taco Bell, so we always find ourselves going back to get the missing items.
I had a terrible experience with my meal and I regret spending money on it. Additionally, I noticed that the kitchen staff were smoking, and there was smoke everywhere in the kitchen. This was around 10 PM on February 19, 2024.

I'm frustrated that they keep getting my order wrong at the drive-thru, even though I clearly ask for no tomatoes because of a food allergy, and they never seem to listen.

They forgot my sauce packets, but not a big deal because I was taking food home and I have sauce there.
Quick and friendly service. I really enjoy their Brisk Mango Tea. The food is delicious!
