Two weeks later, on a Friday, I faced another beef shortage, which meant a delay of 30 minutes to an hour while they waited for an employee to bring more product from another location. Then, last Friday, I arrived only to find out that their system was down. This last excuse was somewhat understandable, but the other issues point to serious failures in management and policy. What are the odds of this happening to the same person three times in three weeks? Pretty likely, given the way this establishment is run. I can't imagine a major chain like McDonald's being out of beef not once, but twice in two weeks during peak hours. How can they not monitor their stock levels? Shouldn't inventory b...
My experience with this restaurant was disappointing. The online menu doesn't match what you find in-store. The cravings box is advertised with three items and a drink for $6.49, but when I ordered in person, the options were different and I couldn't make any modifications. After waiting a long time in line, I was advised to order online instead. On a previous visit, I waited 20 minutes in the parking lot for my food, only to see others leave without refunds, and my order wasn’t as I had requested. I won’t be coming back! I spent $31 on two combos, but I can find better food and service elsewhere for less money.
The food is good, but the employee attitudes and wait time makes it a horrible experience. I ordered nachos and cheese and a burrito for my lunch break and took 20 minutes for it to be done. There was no line in the drive through, but then they had mepark for those 20 minutes. It's very deceiving when you think you'll be in and out for a quick lunch break only to have to waitthat long. I've worked in fast food before, and 20+ minutes is way too long for a customer to wait. We tried to keep thingsunder 4. It's fast food for a reason.
We ordered our food at the drive threw window at 10:20 pm. When we got to the window to pay you could here a party going on inside. A bunch of teens screaming. Since the dining room was closed we had to drive around, park and wait for our food. We gotour food at 11:00. We waited 40 minutes with about 10 other cars outside. That was ridiculous!! I recently returned to this location for the first time in a while and I remembered why I had stopped coming. All of my tacos tasted terrible; they had a really off flavor, almost like the corn had gone bad. I won't be returning to this Taco Bell anytime soon. This location definitely needs some significant improvements.
My past two visits were at approximately 11am and 1pm. I'm not exaggerating when I say both visits were the best Taco Bell I have ever had. The food was extraordinarily fresh and hot! The quesadilla had perfectly melted cheese. Thank you to all the staff in Oakwood for this spectacular drive thru lunch!
