The cleanliness left much to be desired, with many tables dirty and the floors in poor condition. However, the biggest disappointment was the food itself. Sadly, it was awful. We tried the burrito (which came as two separate burritos), a taco salad, and three street tacos—none of it was even remotely good. The beef in the burrito had a strange smell similar to cat food, and it probably tasted just as bad (not that I've ever eaten cat food). After a few bites, we threw everything away, feeling like we had just wasted $36.

This is good in a pinch. Tacos are okay, nothing to brag about, the easiest menu item is the Quesadilla , however most of the time I've had to pay extra for sour cream, guac, salsa, and sometimes the meat is cold or cheese isn't melted at all in it. I mean, come on, how hard is it to make a quesadilla correctly? This place isn't cheap either, the best item there is the simple bean and cheese burrito, always hot, and to be honest, it is next to impossiable to screw up. Apparently no substituting per ?manager training? check your receipts. Order your meal and charge for sides is how they are trained. They keep the food you think you are substituting and auto charge for side. Also check you get all you paid for and that it is cooked correctly. Sunny side up means Yolk not burnt at bottom with what looks sunny side up but is rubbery over cooked eggs.
I can honestly say that it is always consistent. It is a big step up from the idea of taco bells Mexican food. This is real beef, shrimp and chicken. The price is good in reason for the amount of food you receive. The Salsa Bar is great to personalize your dish to your taste buds. The posole is always delicious. And they offer military discounts.

The service was disappointing, with staff who seemed unmotivated and indifferent. Luckily, I wasn’t dining in myself, just picking up an order for someone else. They gave her the wrong order, and there was a messy, leaking substance at the bottom of the bag. This experience is exactly why I wouldn’t choose to eat here. Food: 2/5.
This place always delivers. We order from here at least once a week, and the whole family loves it every time. The tortillas are hands down my favorite from any restaurant, and the Green Chile Stew is consistently delicious. Writing this is making me hungry—I’m already excited for our next visit.
The food quality was only slightly better than gas station nachos. The staff seemed indifferent to both customers and cleanliness. This was my first and last visit to Taco Cabana.

Roberto at Taco Cabana is absolutely amazing! He made us feel so welcome and keeps the dining room spotless. Our dining experience was so much fun because of him. We can't wait to come back!

If you like nachos with no cheese or meat this is the place to go. Definitely gone down hill. Eat somewhere else save your money
