Taco Salsa Taco Shop

We came for lunch and loved it so much that we returned for dinner. The first thing I noticed was how clean the restaurant was—my partner even remarked on how it sparkled! The menu offered a typical selection for a casual Mexican restaurant. The food is excellent, and the service is quick and efficient. So far, we've tried five different dishes, and all were outstanding. My favorite is the taco salad; it's the best I've had in a long time. It features fresh vegetables, flavorful salsa, and delicious dressing. I also appreciate that they add tortilla strips, as I sometimes can’t finish the bowl right away.

Love the food, prices, and customer service. They have usual specials which include select plates and drink from $5 to $6. They now have a veggie menu with $2 potato tacos! They even have a breakfast menu with pozole. So many great choices and THE best salsa in San Diego. They also have always provided the daily Union Tribune to enjoy and share with guests. Love the hospitality.

I’ve been going here for more than 10 years now. They don’t offer the largest serving sizes but they deliver on quality and consistency. I mostly only order the California burrito and carne asada fries and I’m always satisfied. I never end up feeling still hungry nor overly stuffed. Just right that’s the best way to describe my feelings about this place in general.

taco salsa is fantastic. the restaurant itself is super clean, and it is obvious that the owners are proud of their work. we ordered a fish taco combination plate, a veggie burrito and an additional drink that came to $15. everything was delicious, the fishtacos were huge, and in contrast to the normal fried versions were grilled. we will return definitiw. make them a little building next door, so I decided to stop at my lunch. great place, clean and service was especially the older gentleman who took my order was really nice, got my order was right eating was bomb and price was good now. thanks for the shrub

Overall, the food was good, although I felt there were a bit too many refried beans in the chino chimichanga. The cashier was very friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed.

It's a lovely restaurant, family-owned and operated. The staff is extremely friendly, and the food is delightful, especially the potato tacos!
