I ordered a Tongue Quesadilla and a Chicken Tostada. My waitress, Adriana, assisted me well enough. Marta, one of the other service persons, was very nice. Most all were considerate of my service and the quality of the food. The food was good. The atmosphere is Blue-collar and busy. When you complete your meal you pay at a counter which is on the Store side of the establishment...like paying for something you wanted from the C-Store. Juan was there, after I paid...I asked ALL their names, since they have not nametags. The young lady that received my payment would not tell me her name. In fact, when I asked, she appeared to be a bit rude. I asked Juan about her and he said, She don 't want to...
The food is really good. But honestly, just 1/4 of a lime for 3 or 4 tacos? Get it together at least 1/4 per taco and then charging extra for 2/4? And extra is like 1 dollar? If you like lime, bring your own! The overall experience with the food was mediocre. The salsa provided for the tacos seemed more like a paste than a traditional salsa, and the meat could have been better seasoned or had more salt. Ultimately, I will not be returning to this restaurant as there are better options available.
This restaurant always impresses - it never fails to disappoint! The Tacos con Queso Entre Tortillas are incredible, and I also highly recommend the Quesadillas.
