Meh. My husband and I are a bit of Mexican food snobs after living in Arizona for most of our lives. This isn't traditional Mexican. My husband got the chicken quesadillas which were essentially giant globs of slow cooked chicken in a tortilla. Thebeans had tomato sauce in it which made it taste off and had a weird appearance. My fish tacos; completely lack-luster. It wasmore crunch than actual fish and was incredibly dry and I'm pretty sure they used one filet for all three tacos. The sauces wereok. We had Tacos El Cunado cater our wedding in June 2023 and it was a phenomenal experience. They were incredibly flexible to work with and truly let us choose every part of the menu without a bunch of extra fees. They offered to bring their own tables, and even put chips and guac/salsa on each of the tables for our guests which was a great touch! Our guests raved about how kind the servers were, and generous with portions. And we had TONS of leftovers for people to take home! A great option for all ages and very allergy-friendly. I would highly recommend this team to cater your next big event, we didn't have to worry about a thing!
This is a fantastic spot for authentic Mexican cuisine! I had a sudden craving for tacos and decided to try this place on a whim. The restaurant was clean and had a casual fast-food vibe. The service was friendly and prompt; we placed our orders quickly and received our food shortly after. I ordered the taco trio with steak, chorizo, and chicken, and I also sampled their quesadilla. The table was served with chips and salsa. Everything was absolutely delicious! If you're in search of an authentic taste, this is the place to go! I highly recommend it!
Food was fine, not terribly impressed for the price. Best part of the meal was definitely the charro beans. Some of it spilled in the bag for takeout so be careful if you're driving home with the food and not eating in. The atmosphere is not the coziest so it may be worth it to get the food to go.

This is definitely my favorite taco spot! No matter when I crave tacos or how many I order, they always have them ready in about 10 to 15 minutes. The staff is incredibly friendly and always works hard with a smile. I love the music and the cozy atmosphere when I'm there!
I'm from Chicago, I have been in Grand Rapids, Mi. since 1990 and have not been able to find a good authentic Mexican restaurant here, well I just did! This place is it, it reminds me of the authentic Mexican food in Chicago that I miss so much. Bravo!
I ordered fish tacos with fries. They didn't come with lettuce as stated. They came with lots of onions on them. Fries were plain and soft. Our server was friendly. Priced a little high..overall I think there's better places for money spent
I ordered breakfast catering from Tacos El Cunado and they were spectacular. On time delivery, an abundance of food, and a huge hit. Delivery was very professional and the food was great temperature upon arrival. Will definitely use again!
