I absolutely love this place! The food is amazing. However, I still find the ordering process a bit frustrating, and there aren't enough tables for the number of customers. If you visit alone, you'll spend quite a bit of time moving from one section to another to get the tacos you want. On the positive side, the staff is incredibly helpful and always attentive, making sure to clear away your trash and provide anything you need. The tacos are simply fantastic! I'm giving this place a solid 5 stars for the excellent customer service and delicious food, but I do hope they work on improving some aspects of the experience. I really think they need to open one of these in Long Beach!

I'm giving this place a five-star rating because the tacos and service reminded me of my childhood in Guadalajara. The staff is incredibly friendly, and although it's crowded, it's definitely worth the wait. If you're looking for a sit-down restaurant with lamps and shades, this isn't the spot for you. It's a taqueria—it's bustling, and the food is absolutely delicious.

Food still great! Larger location but still not enough room. More lines which helps go faster. Bottom line if you want great tacos this is it...But be ready for a wait, read the signs below menu to make sure your in the right line, and start looking for a seat the minute you walk in! And have fun with the experience!

Very simple review: both my husband and I think these are the BEST tacos we have ever had. So fresh and so flavorful, and we have been treated great by their staff. Every time we go to San Diego, this is a must stop for us. I dream of Tacos El Gordo when I crave Mexican food. Réservez une table maintenant

A great experience! For those of you complaining about the ordering process....for me it was part of the hype!!! A fun atmosphere, the staff bend over to help and are very attentive! Had a fun delicious meal with my Aunts! Made our girl time extra special!!!!

My friend and I arrived around 7:00 PM, and the line was quite lengthy. However, we didn't mind because we knew the food would be excellent. It was definitely worth the wait. It always tastes amazing, and they never disappoint. Thanks, Mike!

Had their tacos for the 1st time a couple of years ago. So freakin good. It’s an addiction. Now I go whenever I’m in Chula Vista (my home town... how the f**k have I never known about this place! to visit my folks. It’s amazeballs.
