Last week, my cousin and I ate here. The food was good, the service was terrible. A hornet landed on my cousin's coke bottle and crawled on the bottle. When we pushed it away, it flew into her drink. The drink was removed, but no attempt to replace the glass or a new bottle of soda. After all, she has an empty glass. I asked if the soda would be replaced and one said we would charge another 4.50 Swiss francs. I was told that the cost of the business was. Really? Honestly, I said I found this rudeness and said it was our fault because we eat outside. And that was the business! We asked for a glass of pure water and said it was a 3,50 donation, a water fund... As far as I am concerned, it was one thing that they saw us as American tourists and did not hesitate to take advantage.
My friend and I came to Tadka rather spontaneously, but it was the best idea we ever had. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. When my friend fought with the spice stand, she immediately offered yogurt to relieve the mouth. The food was delicious. It felt like we were in heaven. I'm not an Indian food expert, but if I had to go to a restaurant for the rest of my life, I'd choose to. 10/10 in every aspect!!
We've always liked Indian food and this restaurant was highly rated on Tripadvisor, so we tried it and we were not disappointed. I had the veggie curry and my wife had a paneer and we shared nan. Everything was excellent. The restaurant is in a...quiet, largely residential neighborhood and we were able to eat at a table outside. Prices were quite reasonable for Zurich (mid-20s for a main dish).
