As a Taiwanese, I was very surprised to taste such authentic food in Dresden especially in an industrial area). We ordered 6 different dishes. The fried dumplings came with 5 pieces for 3.9 euro. The rest of the dishes are between 10 15 euro each. The fried pork 酥肉，pic 2)was marinated in the traditional way first before frying. Three cup chicken was excellent enough ginger, enough garlic, with Thai basil. The seafood tofu stew was well done with fried fish. The dishes were all freshly prepared. Ich komme aus Taiwan und arbeite in Dresden. Es freue mich sehr, dass ich in der Nähe von Dresden auch das leckere Essen von meiner Heimatland genießen kann. In Taiwan, in Boston, in Vancouver und in Venedig habe ich viele gute Restaurants besucht. Aber ich würde sagen, dass die Restaurants in Dresden durchschnittlich nicht mit hohem Niveau sind. Es gibt natürlich auch gute Restaurants, aber nicht so viel wie in den Orten, die ich erwähnt habe. Deshalb bin ich besonders dankbar, dass ich noch zum Restaurant „Taiwan“ gehen kann.
We live in Radebeul for 4 years-from 200-2004. This was our local favorite. It has not changed. They do have a limited menu, written in English, that a friend of ours helped them write. This restaurant is run by a husband and wife. He does the cooking-also grows fresh Chinese vegetables in his back yard and Mai, his wife does the serving. Their won-ton soup is delicious. However, our favorite is the duck breast . It is amazing and the skin is cooked to perfection.

Having staying in Dresden for quite some time, I started to miss the 'real' food. Been here many times for the past three years. Always maintained family style restaurant. If you are an Asian and like family style meals, here's the place. And do asked for 'Special Menu'. I have also attached some photos on the special menu. I always have the 'Bento Box' which is my special request and not listed in the menu, perfect for me.
Es gibt eine Karte mit taiwanesischen Spezialitäten, von denen typischerweise mehrere verschiedene Kleinigkeiten bestellt werden. Der Geschmack setzt sich deutlich von den anderen Vietnamesischen Chinesen(/Taiwanesen) ab, damit ist das Restaurant das Einzige seiner Art in Dresden und Umgebung. War der einzige Gast gegen 20.00h trotz allem alles frisch zubereitet. Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Wer möchte kann dem Koch auch Zuschauen. PREISE sind Günstig. Parkplätze hat es direkt vor dem Haus. Sehr gute Suppen. Toiletten sind nicht gerade sauber.
