Taj Mahal - Réservation de table

Two hungry travelers, wandering the chilly streets of Rottweil looking for a late lunch on the Sunday after Fasnet might have found themselves right out of luck. Every restaurant we’d looked at was either closed for the afternoon or on Urlaub for the weekend. Only the Eiscafes seemed to be running a brisk business – despite the gray and drizzly weather. Nearly at our wits’ end, we saw signs of life inside the Taj Mahal, so we opened the door and stuck our heads in. We quickly realized they too were closed for the afternoon, but we were beckoned inside and seated anyway. We stopped in this charming little town to break a journey to the south and were pleasantly surprised to find a small Indian restaurant on the main street.The food was acceptable but nothing to write home about: the salty lassi was way-too-salty, the lamb salad was drenched in a minty sauce, the tandoori lamb was well-received, the matter-paneer less creamy than usual and tasted much the same as the bindi barji and the chicken korma. Basmati rice and pappadoms are included on the price which is a nice touch.

because Indian restaurants are not common in Germany, it is necessary to enjoy an Indian food in a reddish way. because the weather was moist and cool, we ate inside. the service is efficient and the menu has as good a choice as expected. in Germany. the food looked and tasted good worth the visit.

We were here at the end of the summer which may be the reason for the lack of atmosphere however the food was definitely only average and service was terrible because it was being done by kids under 10 (I don't at all blame them). Réservez une table maintenant

As extensive menu as you will find in Germany with first class service. The meals were very good and realistically priced.

Possibly one of the tastiest Indian meals I've ever had. Simply wonderful and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. 10/10
