Zero customer service. The fish pakoras were disgusting. The butter chicken tasted like macaroni cheese and the other chicken dish we had completely lacked flavour and was as though someone had thrown some chicken in a can of tomatoes. Chicken in both dishes was rock hard! The naan was tiny. The waiter was awful and grumpy, hardly smiled and insisted we move the dishes on the table when he served us! We have the best Indian restaurants in England this was a total disaster of a restaurant and I’m actually embarrassed for them. Avoid at all costs.
I don't usually bother leaving bad reviews but this was the worst service we have ever had in a restaurant anywhere! We called to reserve a table. We were seated quickly and then totally ignored for around half an hour. Placing an order seemed to be an inconvenience to the arrogant waiters/? Owners. The food was ok but I wouldn't bother going unless you're a local (seem to get treated totally differently . They then had the audacity to complain about a €4 tip (5% which quite frankly was generous given the service!
British, living in France since 1974 and well travelled in the Indian subcontinent. In nearly a half century of searching, I can count the number of decent Indian meals I've eaten in France on the fingers of one hand. This was the best. The service was just the cherry on the cake. (Strictly, while the Taj Mahal is in India, this is a Pakistani restraurant)
