Taj Palace - Réservation de table

The curries at this restaurant are delicious, with standout dishes being the Prawn Molee and Murg Methi. The perfect amount of spices and flavors make these dishes finger-licking good. However, the Naan bread was a disappointment as it was dry, thick, and lacking in taste. The service was also lacking, as they replaced the Kashmiri Naan without informing or asking me, giving me a Pizza Naan instead. Despite this, I would still order again for the curries and biryani. Recommended dishes include the Chooza Khas Hyderabadi Biryani, Prawn Molee, and Murg Methi Malai. Note: I ordered through Menulog, so the naan breads may be better if you dine in. I will have to check that out one day!

We went to this restaurant based on a friend's recommendation and we were not disappointed. The food was excellent and the atmosphere of the restaurant was fantastic. This is the only place that truly met our expectations and satisfied our hunger pangs. While the customer service could have been improved, the delicious food more than made up for it.

We went for lunch with our daughter who was visiting from interstate.Not the sort of place that you would go for posh decor, but the friendly nature of the owners and the quality of the food certainly makes the Taj Palace one on our shortlist for 'worth going back' either it be just for us, or with visitors.

Had a couple of chefs specials because we weren’t sure what we wanted. The chana masala and prawns were amazing; rice fresh and each grain separate; service was friendly and prompt. Recommended.

I order veg thali and malai Kofta which was chef choice was extra sweet even asked for medium spicy thali. My husband chicken ticka was good. Réservez une table maintenant

Tasty Indian in Hobart city, and the naan was very moist The team also gave me plenty of packaging for my leftovers to take home!
