When you're craving authentic Indian food with the true taste and flavor of India, look no further than Taka Tak in Oldbury. The dishes are freshly cooked, not reheated from frozen or leftovers, and absolutely delicious. The restaurant has a great atmosphere with popular Indian songs playing, plenty of free on-site parking, and excellent customer service. The only downsides are the waiting time for food and portion sizes, which could be improved. Despite this, I would still give Taka Tak a 5-star rating and highly recommend it.
I recently enjoyed a wonderful dinner at this restaurant that serves delicious and authentic Indian cuisine. The food quality and portion size were excellent, and I was particularly impressed with dishes like Chicken Tikka, Momo, Takaa Tak Sharing Platter V, Hakka Noodles, and Tandoori Chicken. The service was great, though the atmosphere was a bit lacking. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for a meal that costs between £10-20 per person.
This is a really nice place well decorated with plenty of parking space. We ordered 3 curries and 3 banana. Soy Chap and kadai paneer tasted great. The Kofta taste needs to be improved, it was quite bland, even the curry sauce didn’t help to lift its taste. The naans are not uniform. One naan was really think and crispy it didn’t taste like a naan but more like a tandoori roti. Overall the food good but, can be improved. Meal type: Dinner
I had dinner at this restaurant, and the price per person was around £60-70. The food was delicious and I would rate it a 5 out of 5. However, the service was a bit lacking and I would only give it a 2 out of 5. The atmosphere was nice and I would rate it a 4 out of 5.
I would recommend trying the Momo and Tandoori Chicken dishes. For vegetarians, I highly recommend this restaurant as they have a dedicated vegetarian menu or section.

We visited the restaurant yesterday, and I believe it's a hidden gem that I wish I had discovered earlier. The food was fantastic, offering an authentic Indian flavor. We tried the masala coke, and although we were unsure about it at first, it truly surprised us in a good way. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, explaining the dishes and making us feel right at home. I look forward to returning soon. Thank you!

Absolutely amazing! This place is beautiful and staff is superb friendly. The food is absolutely delicious I love that you get a lot of food as well for the price. It’s really a good place for family get together and small parties.
The restaurant is understaffed you have to wait ages for everything you order even the small drink takes more than 30 minutes , I have been there twice and the experience was similar both times on top the staff is rude as well.
