Absolutely the BEST yellow perch dinner in the area .The Fish are fresh and the taste is Superb with perch from Lake Erie 1320 feet away from Clubhouse restaurant . Leave the kitchen odor out of your home and let the cooks feed your taste buds. You will NOT be dissapointed . Think you don't like fish , ask for a sample first and be amazed that you were incorrect in your assumption. Golf Nine holes before in 2 hrs and then eat . Folks who live in the Lake Erie region almost invariably enjoy fresh fish from the Lake. Yellow Perch is one of the most delectable choices when you can find it both fresh and cooked in light batter. The Talbot Trail Golf Course Restaurant offers one of the most delicious yellow perch dinner we've experienced in the region. Even comes with a nicely designed salad. So you wouldn't know a golf ball from a baseball--no matter, you are still welcome to indulge in some very fine food--well, Perch anyway!. Highly recommend dining room and consider the young women serving to be both pleasant and helpful. Oh Yes, service was excellent and those fries...Wow!
We have been out to the dining room at the Talbot Trail Golf Couse on several occasions but this is the first time for breakfast. They just started this new feature which is available on Sat. and Sun mornings only starting at 9:00 am. They offer the usual fare but with the addition to some breakfast sandwiches and even some large enough to share. Add this to the beautiful view out large windows of the fairways. You can even sit out on a large deck/patio complete with umbrellas if you wish.
What a great location and fresh perch dinners- delectable. The patio is a great place to relax after a game of golf or just to stop in for dinner and meet friends. The perch is always good- but best to make reservations if it is a long weekend or you are a large groups as they have been know to run out of perch (since it is fresh, not frozen). Four of us visit the Talbot Trail Golf Course Restaurant for a great meal twice a month and we are very happy with the excellent service and the delicious food. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are very generous usually requiring the request for a container to bring home the left overs for tomorrow's lunch.
