Talkeetna Roadhouse

Trisha was so nice. Due to covid our family of 4 had the whole upstairs(3 rooms and our own bathroom). She's very covid conscious and trying to keep everyone safe. Every group has their own bathroom. She had cookies waiting for us when we got there and they were delicious! The breakfast we had was amazing, eggs, orange juice, reindeer sausage, thick cut bacon, sourdough starter that was from 1902 that was used to make regular and blueberry pancakes. She is so kind, the other guests were so nice too. It's such a treat to stay there and be surrounded by so much character and history. We also were visited by the Mayor of Talkeetna, a cat named Denali. Stay here, you won't regret it.

Amazing breakfast! Make sure the sourdough pancake (the starter was about a LONG time and is amazing) and reindeer sausage! We also had lunch there and the reindeer Chili, which was thrilled, just the right amount of spices!

my number 1 fav place to stay constantly. I love everything about this house. I love his cute decoration, it's like staying in Santa house. her cinnamon roll is amazing!! I'd like to go back here in the future.

5 stars for the staff. 1 star for the crazy owner! Taken all the COVID money and hired a whole staff. I speak the truth. Come to the lodge for her staff. Not paid and betrayed staff from tips.

This is a great place for breakfast, the pancakes are delicious. I also like them to factor employees' wages into their prices so they don't make any tips!
