Had a wonderful dinner at this local spot. I ordered a tamarindo agua fresca and mole enchiladas. First, the tamarindo was so refreshing with a good balance between tart and sweet. The mole had such good flavor! It had a depth was to it and it also was balanced between earthy, spicy, and sweet notes. The enchiladas were stuffed with chicken. The rice and beans complement the dish. Service was fast and friendly. It’s very mom-and-pop, which adds to the charm of feeling like you’re welcomed into their home. There was a station set up outside, most likely created due to Covid, with signs regarding their tamales. I’m sure they’re popular considering the station set up, so I’ll have to go back to...
The seasoning, attentive service, and overall great experience have all disappeared. The menu is extensive, but it no longer resembles authentic Mexican cuisine. They even expect a tip after providing such poor service. I went for dinner at 7 PM, and the waiter who served me seemed exhausted and was quite reluctant in his approach. I won’t be returning to this once-traditional Mexican restaurant; the flavor and taste are just not there anymore.
I walked in for tamales only. Was greeted and my order was taken right away. It was mid-day so there was no line, but it was busy. The green Chile cheese tamales are amazing not to say they are all very tasty and fresh. Ordered 4 pork, 4 chicken with corn, 4 sweet pineapple with raisen and 4 green Chile with cheese.
The wait time for service is lengthy, and they often bring the wrong food, failing to deliver what you ordered. When it comes time to pay, they are unhelpful and indifferent. Although the food is good, the staff's attitude leaves much to be desired.

Liliana's is a great place to take the fam. Delicious authentic Mexican food. GREAT customer service always. Their Cafe de la Holla and Chilaquiles Verdes is why I go to Liliana"s.
