Tampopo - Réservation de table

Tampopo is in new premises after several years in a nearby arcade. It is situated next to a florist and across the road from its old arcade (for fans from their old days). I think they were among the first to offer takoyaki (octopus balls, bit like 'fish balls', street food served on skewers in Japan). They have bento sets as well as udon & ramen (noodle soup). They have got to be one of the best value restaurants in that strip and this review is long overdue. Having eaten in a similar eating place in the next suburb (also near a train station) and being a bit disappointed, I decided my rave about one of my fave eating places was long overdue! I went there with my partner and toddler. We were all super hungry and ordered a fair bit of food and it cost under $30. The food wasn't the best but I thought it was really good price for what it was... The tables are crowded in but the people that come through all had a really nice vibe. I've been back as if you are in the area, it's just great for a last minute cheap and healthy meal.

Regret to let others know that this local, popular, great value Japanese restaurant has now ... Vale, shall miss you, lunches and take-away dinners. New restaurant due to open when I was last in the area.

This place understands the importance of values in the kitchen. The service isn't fast, and the seats aren't very comfortable ... but the food is lovely. The sushi is excellent Réservez une table maintenant

I always make it a point to visit this restaurant every month. It is still my top choice for Japanese cuisine in Perth, and I cannot find any faults with them.

Been aroiund Mount Lawley for a long time. Must be doing something right. Reliably Japanese for Sushi and Miso, plain food served quickly.

Great meal, relaxed casual dining or quick take away. Definately going back. So cheap and delicious.
