I wasn't in the mood to cook and was craving some delicious curry, so I decided to order from Tandoori Cottage. Our food was prepared promptly and the staff were friendly when I picked it up. Our dishes were seasoned perfectly and the portions were generous. The garlic naan was particularly addictive, with a great texture. The rice was cooked perfectly and the butter chicken was creamy and flavorful, with tender chicken pieces. Overall, it was a great choice for takeout and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
The butter chicken is fantastic, and the cheese naan is absolutely delicious. It's a must-try. The chicken rice is good but a bit pricey. Unfortunately, I wasn't a fan of the lamb and beef dish - while it was well-cooked and tender, the flavor was just okay. The service is average and it appears that they are more focused on takeout orders lately.
Had the aloo parathas, kheema naan and chicken biryani as takeaway. The parathas were delicious and the biryani sumptuous and tasty. The kheema naan was a let down though. The place has a nice interior for a sit down meal and the service in my...case was quite prompt.
I know what you're thinking, it's a Saturday afternoon and you just need to eat some good ol fashioned delicious food. Tandoori Cottage really did not disappoint. To the point where it's a Monday afternoon, and I'm STILL thinking of the Butter Chicken.

Chicken Tika is amazing! The flavour is delicious, the sauce is tangy, spicy and adds so much to the meal. Accompanied with the nan bread, it makes for a great lunch! Friendly staff, cheap prices and quality food. Highly recommended.
I’ve been to many Indian restaurants and this place serves up some of the best food I’ve tasted. We ordered the butter chicken, beef vindaloo and garlic naan and now we can say we’ve found our go to Indian restaurant.
Our favourite Indian in east Malvern. We’ve only had take away from here however everything we’ve had is fantastic. My favourite is the chicken butter cream and my wife loves the Dahl
Best tandoori chicken I've tasted in all of Melbourne!! Great service and the joint was absolutely spotless!! I have been coming here for many here and its ways amazing.

Always so delicious and lovely staff, my partner who's Sri Lankan also loves the place despite being picky which his curries. Definitely our go to spot.
The butter chicken at this restaurant is the best in town! The tandoori mushrooms were also incredibly flavorful and juicy.
