Tang Dynasty went above and beyond in every aspect of our dining experience. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, the Décor is stunning and the location is in such a pristine location. We got the Tang Dynasty Degustation and every dish was just beautiful. The chef's have put together a menu that truely demonstrates the strengths of the restaurant. The amount of food was also a pleasant surprise for the price. Would highly recommend Tang Dynasty, would put it at the top of Chinese fine dining in Canberra.
Tang Dynasty is something of a Canberra institution, having served high-end Chinese food for about 40 years, most of the time at the Kingston Shopping Centre and now at the Kingston Foreshore. The food was excellent, the staff attentive,but not intrusive and the venue is lovely as the Foreshore generally is. They also do a nice line in vegetable decorations!
The truth is that I never had and didn’t like Chinese food until I entered this restaurant. The food here is amazing and even though my friends would laugh at me but the truth is I am in love with Chinese food right now. As well as the restaurant is also good because they serve wonderful Chinese foods to the customers.
I have been to place a couple of days ago with my family. Both my wife and my daughter had thoroughly enjoyed the very delightful food served there. My daughter was all praises for the custard bun they serve. Really a great place for family dinner.

I went to this restaurant with my family get together. We were a group of 14 people. And I must say that it is extremely spacious and accommodating. The staff was also awesome with its courteous services. Definitely recommended to all.
This restaurant is certainly the best place to spend some quality time with you family and loved ones. The ambience is awesome, the customer service is amazing and the food is absolutely exotic. I would certainly recommend them to all.
I have never tasted such mouth watering Yumcha menu ever in my life. I really love this restaurant for its wide variety of Yumcha cuisines and keep coming back here with all my friends. Strongly recommended to everyone around!
Great yum cha — they made a great effort to accommodate our pescetarian, vegetarian and carniverous dietary requirements. Wonderful food overall!
