We liked our meals- most of us got one of the tagines. They were very tasty, although we couldn't quite understand why they are no longer cooked with the couscous at the bottom to catch all the flavor. In fact, some of the tagines did not come with rice or couscous, so be sure to order a side. The meze were really nice, although the waiter was no help when asked what was in the Zaalook (which was terrific). The little details got in the way of me giving 5 stars. Although the restaurant was nearly empty (on a Sunday night in the summer, that's fair), our empty dishes sat and sat and sat. Someone in our party had to call the waiter over to clear the dishes, it had been so long, but the job was...
We dined there on Saturday night. We’ve been many times over the years and always have had wonderful experiences there. However this was not the case this time. Even though we made a reservation earlier in the week, our table was right by the bar and it was totally missing the usual ambiance and atmosphere we are accustomed to. The food was good but we were disappointed the menu was changed. Over the years the menu has changed several times and we miss some of the more authentic cuisine that we used to get like the Sultan’s kadra lamb dish. We really wanted to impress our visiting guests and brought them to Tangierino but I don’t think they were. It was an ok night but not up to par.
This Moraccan restaurant was located in a quaint little neighborhood within close walking distance from the Orange Line's Community College station. Noone in my group of seven had tried Moraccan food previous to this and were each pleasantly surprised! Our two servers where kind in providing wonderful recommendations! I had the mzoura tangine, served in a clay dish that kept the food warm as I savoured every delectable morsel, which I paired with a Moroccan Syrah! I appreciated that the venue was quiet enough to enjoy conversation with each other without having to contend with obnoxiously loud background distraction...I will certainly enjoy returning to Tangierino!
This is the cutest place ever. Seriously perfect for date night because it is charming and sultry- from the decor to the vibes to the food. Sit by the open windows on a nice evening and enjoy beautiful wine and exciting belly dancers. Dinner was fabulous- such quality dishes! Afterwards we headed downstairs to smoke hookah in their Cava lounge. Such an amazing experience, can’t wait to go back!

The restaurant is so pretty! We got a table in the corner and the belly dancer was making her way around. She was awesome. Unfortunately it was 20 min before we got water to our table. We kept reminding the waiter but maybe he was in the weeds. Also the tabouli salad isn’t really tabouli it’s regular lettuce. The salmon was DELICIOUS.
Delicious and fun!! Loved the food, drinks, decor and belly dancer. It was just a little chilly in the restaurant so I was cold but other than that we loved it and will be back.
Nice atmosphere… Staff service excellent… Loud because a belly dancer… Food was excellent… The cave looks like a fun spot… We did not stay… We will visit it next time
Love the Middle Eastern ambience, the food was fantastic just such a great vibe for hanging out with friends or colleagues.

This was a great find on a Friday night. Excellent Food and great ambiance. Can't wait to go back with a larger group.
