leith hill tower in dorking rh5 6lx. the top of the tower marks the highest point in south-east England at 1029ft (313m)! the tower was built in 1765 by richard hull by leith hill place as 'a place for people to enjoy the magnificentness of the English landscape '. Unfortunately, the leith hill tower remains closed for visitors due to the Corona virus crisis. Nevertheless, they regret to come there because it is a great place where they can walk for miles, with different trails, see wonderful animal world and enjoy them breathtakingly outsight. there is the caffe where you can choose hot or cold meals, snacks and cold or hot drinks. many benches everywhere! children will love it! the parking space is just a few minutes walk from the tower and it is free.

wow, this is a hexe of a hill. we walked to the tower, then from the long way to the plough to lunch, then back again. it was a sunny spring day and I must say that this is a particularly beautiful part of the country. there were birds who scream, endless heavens and humble views. it was one of our shorter hikes, but we felt the brand from the different hills. a great place to scrub the work and be only part of the world.

A fantastic 'hidden ' little gem. Amazing views, helpful staff. Light airy building, very interesting history. Always seems to have very good art exhibitions on whenever we visit. Great cakes and scones, to be eaten inside, in the courtyard garden or on the terrance with its stunning views. Best of all well-behaved dog friendly, and they are very dog friendly.

we used a way from the app all trails that reached us for a walk around 2 miles in front of the tower. the prospects from above were very nice. on a clear day I'm sure they can see much more. I would recommend it for a nice walk!
