The young couple who run this shop have created a good offering for locals, delivering good value in a modern style fish n chip shop. They have covered all basis and it ensures the customer is satisfied. we are locals and have tried many items on the large menu. The service is swift, chips are good but seemed to have been better when it first opened although still good now, the portions are reasonable and the free slushy is a hit with most kids and daring adults. Keep up the good work, we have lived in the area for approx 29 years and you are the best Fish n Chip offer so far.
Since arriving in Perth from Ireland this gourmet Fish And Chip shop also known as Tankk is awesome.The fish and chips are as good if not better than Irelands famous fish and chip shop Burdochs in Dublin City Centre.Great value for money and always busy the staff are awesome i can only commend the guys and girls for running a stunning shop.We book via phone and generally within 10-15mins you walk in pay and collect, and the packaging is clean neat and tidy for takeaways.Always a pleasure dealing with them about twice a week.I would highly recommend - signed Alan.
Got curious about the 100% guarantee satisfaction promise on their leaflet/menu so tried out their fish and chips. I liked the fact that they mention where the fish comes from, which one is local and which one is imported. I picked the Red Emperor which is the most expensive choice on the menu. Alas - whilst the staff was friendly - the batter was way too oily and so where the chips, flavour was okay. So - 100% satisfaction - certainly not - my experience was average at best.
This shop has had several owners over the last 20 years. The young group of people operating it now are equal to the best. Great service. Good selection. Reasonable prices. Best of all is the quality. Thin batter and thicker chips. I have only tried the $7 fish and chips for a child (which is more than I can eat) and the meal has been great each time. My only go to place for fish and chips. the everyday deals are awesome , especially the friday / weekend ones , can feed a family of 5! love how the food is packaged in a cake box instead of being wrapped in paper, resulting in a less soggy meal upon reaching home to eat it. Call to order 15 mins before and you wont have to wait in line.
I had a piece of grilled fish..nothing exciting. Did not try the battered fish and chips. Typical neighbourhood fish and chips shop. New owner not as friendly as Lindsay who started the shop but died some years ago. I doubt I will be back. I like friendly shopowners. That's what neighbourhood shopping is about - personal and friendly.
Good location. Free parking outside. Open 4-8pm. Nice staff. Reasonable prices. The fish is better if not bought in first hour of opening. Twice the fish purchased before 6pm has not been that fresh. Perhaps it is left over from previous day. Recommand buying fish and chips after 6pm.
