Die Einzelheiten in Stichworten: schmierig-klebrige Plastiktischdecke, trockene Gambas mit penetrantem Knoblauchgeschmack in widerlichem, billigsten Olivenöl; Fritierte Calamares waren billige Tiefkühlware, dazu gab es eine Art rötlichen Frischkäse, der nach Kühlschrank roch; Pflaumen im Speckmantel waren verbrannt; ein Schälchen Oliven der schlechtesten Qualität,dazu eine eingelegte Peperoni, Schafskäse in Seranoschinken eingerollt, der Schinken war schon ranzig und wurde durch das Braten nicht bess...
44/45 years ago there was never a week ago, where our clique Manfred Helmut Spoo and many others (Jusos) did not enjoy 1-2 times (as far as our bufget has allowed) the best spaghetti in a wide circle in the Mex, served by Kurti. Legendary have been the Mexican nights where some marriage started...How often did I try to cook this excellent spaghetti. I'm 70, I live in the Eifel and visited the Mex from the outside. Wer hausmännische Nudelgerichte und eine Vielzahl an kleinen span. Vorspeisen liebt, der geht seit gut 30 Jahren ins Tapas. Sehr zu empfehlen sind die Spagetti "Inge"; am besten noch mit einer doppelten Portion Käse überbacken Die Preise sind für die Altstadt sehr moderat. Dagegen ist das Pils unangemessen teuer im Vergleich zum Lothringer Hof, der ca. 200 m entfernt etwas abseits der Altstadt gelegen ist.
Wir hatten es noch nie beschaffte was anderes zu essen als die legendäre Spaghetti Inge.Ziemlich genau vor 40 Jahren haben wir min. einmal pro Woche in der Mex für 5Mark diese Spaghetti lieben gelernt. Und heute mit fast 60 stehen sie immer noch regelmäßig auf meiner Wunschliste. Dazu ein mediterraner Salat und wir sind wieder in die damalige Zeit zurück versetzt.

Das Restaurant ist ganz gemütlich. Das Essen ist in Ordnung . Die Speisekarte ist nicht sehr groß, sodass wir in ein paar besuchen so ziemlich alles ausprobiert haben !Zu empfehlen ist Tappas für 2 und die Nudeln ala Inge
Very good and authentic cuisine. For 40 years always liked. A real traditional place in the Saarlouiser Old Town. There's something to eat for every age group.
