the first time at tapasya. booked for a Monday evening and as expected, and like most restaurants, will always be quiet, but three tables covered such a ' atmosphere', the staff was very attentive and friendly, and eating was really delicious. in contrast to most Indian restaurants, the menu is quite small, so they can make sure that every dish is very good and freshly prepared. the web image is for 'indian fine eating'. yes, it seems safe! I am not a lover of overly spicy food... But my partner is, so I decided to book Tapasya as a treat for him hoping there would be something that would suit my palette. I needn't have worried. We had the tasting menu including gin (for me) and wine (for him). The food surpassed my expectations, this is not your typical curry house but a fabulous fine dining experience. The service was exemplary. We will be back!

eat excellent. atmosphere very good. service well. pre-grinding beverage area very bad. the announcement that a service fee of £38 was added without notice. if our party is only 6 persons total. the Tapasya Directive is the application of a service fee for 8 or more persons.

our party of four enjoyed an excellent lunch with good service. we have been mixing here at four separate locations and found the lunch special menu to be extremely good with more than enough choices.
