A few steps into any walk along the Paseo of Los Cristianos will tell you that most (if not all) restaurants cater to every taste known to humans. A necessary evil or good business sense to attract the substantial passing trade, I will leave you to decide. A few kilometres along the coast in Palm Mar is this little gem that bucks the trend. Focused menu and attentive staff alongside a talented chef is a damn good recipe. Like many others before me, I will initially praise the surprising appearance of a cheeky 'amuse bouche ', which will delight your taste buds. A very strong menu is ably supported by a couple of tantalising specials, two of which were chosen. The Onglet and Chateaubriand were beautifully presented to the table alongside a 'first time ' bouillabaisse for one of our party. As is expected, there was an excellent choice of wine and Belgian beer to accompany the meal. A delicious tarte tatin polished off an excellent evening. Thorougly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking something a little special to remember, at very reasonable prices too.
We were a party of 4 people. We were made to feel really welcome. The chalk board menu was explained in great detail, the service was excellent and food exceptional This is good fine dining and good value for money. We all agreed it was a memorable evening. Can’t wait to go back!!
