I finally visited this place for the first time this weekend after hearing about it since it opened. A friend of mine recommended their breakfast tacos, so I decided to check it out. I tried the chilaquiles with green sauce, which were good, though I would have preferred a bit more green sauce and cheese—that’s just my personal taste. I also had a chorizo, egg, and cheese taco with pico de gallo, which was packed with flavor. The fried potatoes were excellent as well, with crispy edges and a tender center. Ask for two slices of bacon and they gave two slices of Bacon which was cut of 1/2 slice of one becon and that 1/2 into two slices , which came into 1/4 of slice for $1.99 come on times are hard but don’t steal peoples money that way , lost a costume, can’t trust a place like that ! I ordered breakfast two eggs and beans and bacon , ordered was wrong he put rice that didn’t want and had to pay for it . I tip the server good cause it was not her doing, she look embarrassed by order , which I didn’t say anything her , she was a server.
We used to dine here, but the food quality is not what it used to be. I ordered fajitas and the beef was super tough and the flavor was off. The guacamole tasted spoiled and so did the pico, like they have been keeping it too long. The flour tortillas were hard. No more eating here , when there’s too many places serving fresh food. Great food at a great price with no-frills. No extremely loud music with dancers putting on a silly show like another local Mexican spot I won't mention by name. Cotijas is our family's favorite Mexican restaurant in the area! It's family-owned, serves fantastic food, has a cozy atmosphere, and boasts an excellent drink selection. My usual choice is the Cotijas pizza, but everything I've had there has been delicious and enjoyable!
The food was fresh and delightful! I ordered from the menu, and they prepared my breakfast burrito perfectly. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. After enjoying our delicious brunch, I checked the ladies' restroom, which was clean and wonderfully fresh!
The food here is truly delicious! The Quesabirria tacos are incredible, and the birria ramen is equally delightful, along with everything else you order. Everything is made fresh, even the Chamoy for the Margaritas.
Can we talk about the drinks? I realize it's not a bar, but wow... the shots and premium margaritas are outstanding!
