This restaurant is a hidden gem, particularly for their pastor tacos, which are absolutely amazing! I highly recommend trying them. However, the rice we ordered was quite dry and not enjoyable, and the refried beans were also lacking. The black beans were decent, though. I also sampled their horchata, but it was quite bland—tasting more like water with just a hint of cinnamon and no sweetness. On a positive note, having a drive-thru is very convenient, even though we chose to dine in. The interior could use some updates, including the tables, chairs, floors, and lighting. Aside from that, I definitely recommend the pastor tacos! The customer service is friendly and the prices are affordable....
Buyers beware this location (8th ave) charges differently from the others. I ordered the tacos al pastor with a Dr. Pepper and the cashier charged me 14.95, an hour earlier I ordered the exact same thing at their seminary location and it was 11.65 this either tells me their prices are not the same or the cashier is pocketing the difference ??
Their tacos were not to par. Their tortillas were stiff. The meat was not what I consider Mexican barbacoa. It was more like pork in a grinder. Never again will I order from this restaurant. Deliver guy was ok. Didn't speak English. Luckily I am fluent in Spanish. He was ok and fast.
Very disappointed in our drive-through order the lady working was in a bad mood and missed up our order please avoid this place if you can. Such horrible customer service. By the way they only accept cash if you don't theirs a service fee if you pay with card.

Fantastic tacos! This place is definitely one of the top three spots on the North Side to satisfy your craving for tacos, tortas, sopes, and of course, ranchero beans. It's a go-to spot for late-night taco enjoyment!
So delicious food love the tacos but awful service the lady was so rude she asked question and walked away before I could answer.

Drive thru tortas. Very good. Only thing I would have changed is the tortas don't come with refried beans on them.
