My husband wasn’t enthusiastic about the local bar I found on Yelp for lunch, so he suggested we try Tara's Diner instead. The surrounding area felt quite sleepy, with not many other businesses nearby. The diner was tidy and had a simple decor. First of all, the restaurant has been renamed White Lake Diner under new ownership. The staff was really friendly and accommodating. We had dinner there and left feeling completely satisfied—definitely go there on an empty stomach! My friend ordered the four-piece fried chicken, which was both fresh and delicious. I opted for the chicken tenders platter, and it was great as well. The decor is a bit worn but well-maintained and clean. The prices are reasonable too. It felt like they stayed open just for us since we were the only ones left after another family departed, and we really appreciated not being rushed.

So good!!! Food was so fresh I almost ate me freakin' plate!! Tara was a sweetheart and very welcoming. I really want to visit again. That cheese omelet was EVERYTHING I NEEDED IN MY LIFE!! Lolz...

The meatloaf special, served with fresh mashed potatoes, was outstanding. There were plenty of locals dining for lunch when we arrived, which is always a great indication! Réservez une table maintenant
