Tarpon Point Grill And Marina

We had made a reservation for outside and when we got there a lot of confusion. We were told inside that we had a reservation but to see the outside hostess who did not have us on her list. She did go inside and got things clarified and we ended up getting a table outside. The new tiki tables are great, like them a lot. We ordered drinks and appetizer and drinks were slow to come but appt came quickly. From the time we ordered our dinner which was before the appts came and dinner was at the table in less than 10 minutes. Felt a little rushed. Food was hot and delicious. The grilled blacked walleye was well cooked and the fish and chips was also delicious. The shrimp po boy was tasty as well....

However, the only area that needs improvement is the bar. The drinks I ordered, specifically the Absolute Moscow mule and the Mojito, were not up to par. The Moscow mule lacked flavor and was watery, while the Mojito had an unexpected coconut taste and appearance. I would recommend waiting to order cocktails until they have perfected their bar service. Despite this minor issue, we will definitely be returning to this restaurant. Arriving by boat adds to the delightful experience, and the tiki huts and festive atmosphere are charming. Waited 11 minutes after being seated before anyone came to our table...only because my wife went to speak to hostess!! Walleye was bland no flavor, bed of rice was 3 forkfuls good thing because it was dry!! hush puppies were chewy and still cold in the center!! My fries were hot my wife fries were 50/50!! The old place had the same problems!! Some things never change... sorry except the name and pretty high prices for sure. $18 for fries don't go!!

I was so impressed from the moment we walked in, as we were greeted with such warmth. We were then seated at a charming tiki hut by the river, offering stunning views. The food was absolutely delicious! We ordered oyster Rockefeller, blackened grouper, seafood risotto, and churro dessert. My only small criticism would be that I wished the blackening had a bit more spice, but I personally love spicy food. Overall, it was a fantastic date night! Réservez une table maintenant

here is more special philly cheesesteak! they tried to defend this as great, but I didn't want the paprika and swirl. the waitress didn't know if it even came with pfeffer and wobble, and that wouldn't change that the flesh was terrible. also cannot make a drink right. you have not recommended

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very peaceful. The staff, especially our server Alessa, were friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this place.

This place rocks! We had the oysters! Best in Florida! We also both had salads that were delish! Personally, I think the Wedge with shrimp is the freshest and tastiest dressing I’ve EVER had!
