Hui from the outside, fie from the inside. They try to bribe here with ambience and artificial nobles. But what you get is below the level of the average village gastronomy. The service is totally inadequate for a restaurant in this price range. Communication in English was difficult and many table manners were not observed. I don 't want to go into more detail here, as the waitresses tried hard to save this disastrous evening. The greeting from the kitchen , consisting of salted bread, is endowed with almost 15€. Terrible service. Manager/owner as rude, arrogant and unprofessional as it gets. We order wine by the glass. They bring a horrible Rioja. Pure vinegar. The bottle was bad to start with or probably had been open for days. We send it back. They bring a Ribera del Duero from an almost empty bottle. My wife gets a somewhat acceptable pour, I get the dregs of the bottle, a quantity barely acceptable for tasting. I don’t go to restaurants to be taken advantage of so I personally bring the two glasses back to the manager. I show him the uneven pours and the ridiculous amount of wine in my glass. great food. yes, it is expensive, but I would rather pay a little more and guarantee quality and taste, than to have less to pay and moderately eat. this is not even as expensive everywhere as they would pay in Britain for the quality of food. I would be out there as Michelin quality. I had the seafood soup and shared a chateubrid with my partner. the meat and sauces were cooked for reflexion and so much taste. the suppe was incredible. I will come back in definitiw. oh and the service was just as impeccable, and the wee too. I would recommend for a special night, or if you want to impress a date.
we were very enthusiastic and happy with the eating and service of adrian, who was very friendly, professional and helpful. eating was beyond our expectations. the chicken with truffle sauce, oh my gott, that was something! it's not a cheaper place for local standards, but for us what we got was just a perfect game for the price and we were very happy. probably this was our best meal in teneriffa, where we traveled here and there a bit. thanks many, that was very nice.
