I’ll give the place a credit the famous fried cuttlefish Setubal style is delicious. But not sure I’d want to repeat the experience due to the weird service pattern. It’s like they’re doing you a favour of serving you. I don’t like being fraternised, and phrases like “wait for your turn” and “I’ll come to you, love, after finishing with this client” are not something one wants to hear while being served. I understand, lunches on weekends can be busy, but you can’t ignore clients for half an hour and then throw those phrases like a bone to a dog.
We tried the local favorite, Chico Frito. It's fried cuttlefish. I'm gluten sensitive. Our waitress spoke English and said they could fry it without the batter. My wife tried it with the batter. Portions are huge and a couple could easily split an order. It's good, but we like the fresh fish options better. The fries were great. There are lots of locals and families that come here and pick out the fresh fish for their dinners. Would highly recommend.
