Tasca La Trebina

Got the recommendation from my hotel, and picked La Trebina, because it looked and sounded like a true local restaurant. I was not disappointed. I had the grilled cheese with homemade jams, then the lamb and rounded it off with the lovely yoghurt with apples and crumble. Housewine was also excellent!

Six of us dined here recently and it really was excellent. The service was friendly and attentive and the food was well prepared and delicious. Also well priced. And a nice traditional feel to the restaurant. We will certainly be returning.

Don't forget to book in advance! This is a lovely small restaurant with bags of atmosphere, great Canarian food and wine. If you are near San Miguel make this your first stop for an authentic Canarian evening.

Excellent! The best meal we have had in Tenerife so far. Delicious food, fresh and tasty. Reasonably priced and lovely staff. Great to meet the chef who ensured we were enjoying our meal. We'll be back!

A really pretty restaurant with friendly staff. Lovely food with a thoughtful selection of wines. Good prices and no hurry.
