I’d be very surprised if you found a better restaurant in Los Abrigos (or nearby Golf). Really exceptional tapas- our table ordered the prawn and sweet potato salad, the salmon tartar, the wagyu carpaccio, the garbanzo salad, the shark, and a basque fish dish called marmitako. Incredible place just in the middle of a small village. 100% homemade. Gorgeous croquettes, delicious revuelto de papas with cheese and terrific risotto (octopus). Rice was just perfect! Deserts are also great (one of the best cheese cake we have ever tried). Staff could not be nicer and more efficient and prices are really affordable (pretty cheap for such an amazing plates). You should try Potaje de berros!! It was our first time trying this soup, and it was sooo tasty! I loved it. Also tried carne de cabra (goat , and carne fiesta. They are both huge portion and the sauce was pretty nice! The meat could have been more tender. Some of the pieces were too hard imo. Nevertheless, I recommend if you're around the area!:
Being a chef, you add a bit of uniqueness into your mastery and you just get it right. That's the case here. Smoked bread is a great idea, soup is thick and very well mixed with its ingredients. Garlic prawns — oh my, perfect, must try. Simple but powerful. Goat meat tender, and amazing.
