The customer service at this restaurant has always been terrible, but the food is amazing. If it weren't for the delicious food, I would never return, even to their last location. The female employees at the counter are always very rude and standoffish, and this has been the case for years. They are never friendly towards female customers. The first person we spoke to seemed unsure about the vegan options and had to consult someone else. When we called back to place our order, the second person we spoke to was quite abrupt and insistent when we asked for clarification or to repeat our order to ensure accuracy. I have been dining at this restaurant for over ten years, despite having to drive 50 minutes to get there. On my recent visit, I ordered three curry chicken platters and a side of jerk chicken. Unfortunately, the food didn't taste as good as it used to - I can't quite pinpoint what's different, but something has changed. The service was decent, and I opted for takeout for lunch. The price per person ranged from $50 to $100. Overall, I would rate the food a 3, service a 4, and atmosphere a 4.
You used to have good food but these days you add a lot of spices and unneccesary stuff to food that changes taste to a simple food like vegetable platter. You used to have white bananas now you serve people some funny red bananas with something called damplings. Have wasted my money twice driving all the way from owings mills. NEVER AGAIN.... I ordered the Stewed Chicken with rice, peas, and cabbage, and it was delicious. The service was excellent - I placed my order and only had to wait about 5 minutes. The portions were generous, and I opted for the large size. Overall, I give the food, service, and atmosphere a perfect score of 5 out of 5.

this spot is tiny and fills quickly. experienced a long wait, but it is likely because they are so popular. not a real sitting area, but this is cool for Caribbean training. the ananas ingwer juice is great!
