The classic banh mi at this restaurant was extremely delicious, made with a variety of fresh ingredients and served on a crispy baguette for only $7.80. However, other menu items seemed to be priced higher. The coffee was hot, strong, and flavorful, but not very creamy - just the way I like it. They offer breakfast options until 11am, but it's unclear if they have separate menus for different times of the day. When I arrived just past 10am and inquired about the baguettes, they had to check if they were available and only had a few options left. They have cozy outdoor seating where you can people-watch, or if you prefer, they also have heaters indoors to keep you warm on cooler days.
I originally opted to buy a baguette at Queen Street Deli a few doors away but the serving person flatly refused to cut it in half for me so I went on to Taste Baguette and I'm glad I did. They were very friendly and...laughed at my story while serving me some watermelon and strawberry cake and a cup of tea as well. Service is important and these people will do well because of it.

Convenient location in Zetland for ordering breakfast before work. The coffee was decent and the staff were friendly. However, I was disappointed by the ham and cheese croissant. As a bakery, I expected better than cheap ham and plastic sliced cheese inside a croissant that was supposedly baked on-site. To make matters worse, they charged $10 for it and served it cold.

great baguettes! the best thing I had in sydney and I lived in France. absolutely tasty, perfect texture and have a durability measured in hours, whereupon they turn into weapons. and the caffeine, banh mi and baked are great....campos coffee, well made and a beautiful street landscape. beautiful staff and dog friendly.
I look forward to going shopping because I always buy a medium sized salad. Always lots to choose from. The chicken cesar, chicken pesto pasta, Thai wonton and so much more. Always served by lovely, friendly people. Highly recommend a visit

I visited this restaurant during COVID so I didn't have the full experience, but I can recommend the coffee and pastries. This place is now a regular stop for me during my morning hikes. Definitely worth a visit!

We were staying nearby so I visited each morning for fresh pastries. The croissants, danishes other pastries were all fresh delicious. Would highly recommend.
Had lunch here a few times substituted the baguettes for salads. Really liked the chicken schnitzel really nice and crispy and moist.
