You might never notice this small storefront restaurant located in a nondescript strip mall, but based on good reviews we ducked in here for lunch. Surprisingly, we were the only people seated, but they were doing a pretty steady business in take-out orders.We ordered off the main menu, not the lunch menu. Had Tandoori chicken momos, Muttar paneer and lamb rogan josh, with a side of garlic naan. The peas in the paneer were a bit more al dente than I'm used to, but everything was delicious and service was excellent.Way too much food for two normal people, but luckily I am gluttonous and was able to finish everything! The order of momos alone would have made a good lunch for one or a light mea...

The quantity is no doubt genuine. However, the quality needs to be improved, we ordered fried rice and noodles both mild however it was un sesoned, there was no flavor whatsoever and the peas in fried rice were raw. We did give it back and asked for seasoning but the quality did not differ a bit. The staff was nice, but please be more considerate about the flavours, as Chinese food is meant to have a umami flavor where the restaurant lacks.

Firstly,I must say how spotlessly clean this place is and the decor is very pleasing to the eye.Our server Ravneet, was very polite and caring. She noticed me sweating from spice and turned a fan on next to me!Now, the food……..absolutely wow!! Portions are wonderful, flavours balanced and plates presented beautifully. We do believe we have found our new go-to place to eat

I hadn't had Himalayan food in a decade and I'm glad I found this place. Momos were excellent, Mango Lassi and Nepali tea were also great.I wish they provided reusable metal straws instead of paper straws, hard to drink the Lassi with a soggy straw.The food and ambience of this place brought back great memories in the Himalayas. I visited last Sunday and I believe this is the best restaurant for visiting on weekends with friends . the environment was very busy but the staff handle everything politely and the service was very nice and the food was very tasty . momos are best , highly recommend must visit . special thanks to ravneet for great

We came from Calgary to visit family at Surrey, BC. Our family decided to go for the Nepalese cuisine restaurant and we chose Taste of Himalaya, I literally got nostalgic after having their authentic momo and chicken sekuwa. The restaurant has such an incredible food in a homely ambience.

I ordered a chicken chowmein and there was only 6 pieces of such thin chicken and rest all noodles, for the amount of money they charged should have been more. It unfair. These guys need to stop being greedy and give us what we paid for

Although my order was small-one single plate of veg springrolls- the lady at the counter was pleasant and treating me as a valuable customer. I will definitely will come again to try other vegetable dishes. Réservez une table maintenant
