We ordered food yesterday, and I have to say that we were too disappointed. We drove from Manhattan to get the food because we wanted to try the food here. The roasted chicken was super hard and dry. The Avial I wanted was cooked with steal coconut oil and none of us could eat it. The cattle biryani went to the garbage. The fried chicken went to the garbage. The king fish curry was a little ok. I even have two bottles of dry shrimp pimp type and a sole fish thing. Both came to Stale coconut oil. I had a bad stomach this morning and my 7-year-old daughter. That was definitely not fair. We paid almost $100 for all the food and none of it was good. Please, boys, you really have to work on it.
I was excited to try an authentic Kerala lunch, but unfortunately the food did not live up to my expectations. The beef ularthu was a major disappointment - it lacked freshness, the masala seemed to be separate from the meat, and overall it felt like a mass-produced dish. The restaurant was crowded and everything was overpriced, including a $40 hammock. The porotta was passable but not great, and the cutlets, banana fry, and Bonda were not prepared in the Malayalee style and did not taste good. Overall, we were not satisfied with our meal and will not be returning to this restaurant.
Adipoli, We stay in Connecticut, Were looking for a good place to have a Onam Sadhya and we found Taste of Kerala Kitchen. Though it was 3 Hrs away, we decided to give it a try They had Buffet Ona sadhya with Rice, Avial, Veg Thoran, Parippu curry, Mango curry, Kootu curry, Mango pickle, Sambar, Moru, 2 types of Payasam, Pappadam, Moru, Rasam and many more to count. It was soooo delicious and we had a blast. We also packed some non veg items home too
It had been over 7 years since I last had Onam Sadhya, and let me tell you, this place completely won me over. The owners, who are from Kerala, were so welcoming and kept the restaurant open until I was done with my meal. I absolutely adored this place and it will now be my go-to for authentic food.

I am not sure where to begin. The food at this restaurant is not great or exciting. It is overpriced and tastes and looks old, not fresh. I sampled a variety of dishes, but overall found the food to be disappointing. However, I recommend trying it for yourself and forming your own opinion.
I been ordering from this restaurant for years and I never had any issues with their food or service. The owner is a great man. These negative reviews are from different countries. I don't understand how people can write reviews and judge a restaurant if they are from other countries.
Had a great time here. Excellent customer service. Delicious food. Kids wanted papadam because they aren?t accustomed to spicy food and they served that on the house. Will definitely be heading back. Also, large portions so we also took food back home.
I have tried the chicken tikka curry and the naan. It was delicious. My husband and I enjoyed the food and service. The staffs are very friendly. I don’t know about all the negative comments but they are good.

Great food. I have been ordering from this restaurant every so often for the last 6 years and I love the beef and chicken. They have great service and I would definitely recommend them to family and friends.
Amazing food! My parents been ordering from this place for years ever since I was a little boy. The owner is a great man, kind and always reliable.
