Went to this restaurant for dinner on Sunday 29th October, with my family. What was supposed to be a good night out was ruined by the racist manager. He told us to sit next to the toilet. When we told him there was an empty table next to it he said it was for family of six. It was four of us. As we were going fourth and back a nice gentleman who was leaving offered us his seat. We sat at a dirty table for a while. Before the table was cleaned an Asian family of four, one of them being a child walked in, the manager with a smile offered them the table he refused us. While we were sitting there waiting for our food, their order was taken and they were halfway eating when we got our food.
Ordered food from Deliveroo app and when it said order was on it's way the driver wasn't moving for 30 minutes. Decided to call the restaurant and asked me to call back to speak with the manager a few minutes later. Then the app shows order delivered which it didn't happen. I called the restaurant and checked the order which they said went out and the fact I didn't receive it is Deliveroos problem and to deal with them. Either the driver took my order or the restaurant didn't produce my food. Bad service and a big waste of time. Deliveroo will pay me back but do not waste time with this place!
first, 9.60 is too high for a biriyani, especially if it was not somehow cooked for perfection and the amount was also moderate to less. Although the personal was polite, the biggest shutdown was, although it was written that she was a type of student discount (20% off, if I remember correctly) she refused that the indication that the discount is valid for cash payments and over 10 gbp that was not mentioned anywhere.
Not that I expect South Asian restaurants will bring back the exact taste of the homely food back in our motherland, but I expected this restaurant to be close enough after hearing so much about it. But alas! I must say I was pretty disappointed with the average spread of affairs! Chef special Chicken Kadhai makes you wonder what made it even close to special!
