The place has a great basis to start with, staff who clearly love what they do. A really warm welcome was given and table service was fantastic! The resturant has a warm feel about it and plenty of space between other tables rather than shoe horning people in to the max. The food looked fantastic but with starters and mains being brought out at random intervals it led to some being well fed early and some waiting till much later to eat. I guess the kitchen staff have room for improvement on this? The food was enjoyed by most, but in my own opinion a more varied menu should be brought in ti cater for vegetarian and vegan diners as the current menu does not really cater for them. I recently visited Meu Portugal during the Langworthy Live Music Festival, where my daughter was performing. The staff at the restaurant were incredibly friendly and welcoming. While we didn't have the opportunity to try the food on this occasion, it looked and smelled amazing. The restaurant was bustling with activity, indicating its popularity. I would love to return to Meu Portugal for a meal in the future based on the positive atmosphere and beautiful looking/smelling food.
