What a fabulous place! I was fortunate enough to win a cream tea for two in a raffle, so I booked a table to meet up with an old friend. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed. We were seated in a lovely room upstairs and served the most perfect raspberry scones - fresh, light, and absolutely delicious. After catching up for a while, we decided to order some lunch from the tempting menu. Our sandwiches and toasties arrived quickly, were hot, and once again, delicious. The atmosphere was fantastic and all the staff were friendly and helpful. I definitely won't be dining anywhere else for lunch when I'm in town. 100/10 - highly recommend!
We stumbled across Taste when stopping in to Shrewsbury en route to North Wales. We were ushered in with our dog and treated like family. The dog was pampered with treats and a bowl of water and nothing was too much trouble. The food was fresh and delicious and we had lovely chats with a number of different staff about the beautiful period property. We had such a lovely experience and left with a smile. Thank you :
We were passing through Shrewsbury and wanted a cup of tea. This little cafe is close to the town centre car parks and shops. We sat upstairs and had a lovely scone and piece of cake with a tea and coffee. Quite small place but convenient and friendly service with nice scones and cakes
Absolutely terrible food, we ordered two breakfasts. The sausage was uncooked the bacon was cremated, the has browns were as hash as nails and full of oil. Tomatoes were segmented and swimming in oil. We ate a couple of mouthfuls and left……don’t waste your money.

I went for a stroll around Shrewsbury in search of scones, and this place did not disappoint. The raspberry and sultana scones were both fluffy and delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful without being pushy.
As always the yummiest scones ever made! Absolutely wonderful service with smiles all round from the cheerful and accommodating staff. Couldn't wish for a better place for a coffee , thank you to all of you!
Lovely. Well attended too outside with the dog instantly offered water and treats. Specials were well thought out and what a nice range of chutney alongside the quiche I had.
This restaurant is always a delight and the perfect way to complete a visit to this beautiful town! The staff were just as lovely as they were during my previous visit.

Excellent service, friendly staff. A huge array of delightfully delicious cakes. A must is the Peanut Butter Brownie which was soft incredibly tasty
As always the food was well prepared and pleasantly served. I come here every time I visit Shrewsbury.
