Have been to "Tastebuds" a few times. Conveniently located near a popular flower market as well as horse hardware/clothes retailer & other mainly rural providers & services. It is a no frills café that is always well patronised. They offer good lunchtime meal choices as well as coffee/cake type options in an open undercover setting. There is a slightly more formal restaurant next door.Our meals were well prepared, tasty & filling. Access is off Mona Vale Road where there is a high demand carpark. Alternatively there is a rear entrance off Myoora Road which seems to offer slightly more parking spaces.
The place adjoins a beautiful flower/plant shop , with other shops/ businesses just off the main road. It is interestingly decorated with all sorts of tables and chairs and coffee corners.The food was good, I had Barra and prawn fish cakes with Asian salad and my friend had gluten free zucchini and corn crepe with smoked salmon. Nice atmosphere.
Most enjoyable, the cakes are amazing all fresh and made on the premises. The frittata & salad looked delicious. We arrived at 2pm and left at 4.30pm, the cafe was full but there was no pressure for us to leave or to order more. I have been frequenting this cafe since it's early days, watching it grow and become very popular.
I took my elderly mother for morning tea and we both enjoyed the experience.Situated beside the flower shop amongst the rustic decor we found the coffee to be of a high standard and the carrot cake was to die for, so moist as were the freshly baked muffins.The staff were also very friendly and helpful.

Fantastic venue for breakfast, morning tea or lunch with healthy, yummy food set next tothe lovely flower shop. Service is efficient and friendly at all times. Plenty of tasty dishes,small and large with an excellent choice of freshly squeezed juices as well as coffees.Do not hesitate to visit!
This is a top venue,freshly made muffins every day,they even have a countdown clock for the next batch. Absolutely fresh,absolutely delicious. Their pies are tops,apparently from Cafe DeWheels.
Nice ambience, good service, great salads, and very reasonable prices. A good place to catch up with friends for lunch. Would go there again.
Good coffee, great selection of dishes for breakfast and lunch. Always busy, prompt service and very tasty morsels from the kitchen

A good cafe with a decent menu and wide variety of cakes and gelato. Staff are lovely and it was rather busy at 2pm on a Saturday.
Great food, good service but they've removed the all day breakfast menu which is a shame as it's delicious!
