This small diner has been in existence since 1938 from a physical standpoint, it's seen a little bit better days in the past. My wife and I both were there this morning for breakfast. I got the western omelette which was correctly prepared and done nicelyand she got two eggs with the bacon very crisp. One thing we are a little surprised that is that neither grits nor potatoes camewith the breakfast. This has been sort of a saint of procedure at literally every breakfast place we've been at for the last 20years I know times are hard I guess they're forced to cheapen up however they can. For the two of us, it was $26 for breakfastwhich given what it was I think is a little high. So this place...
Simple Breakfast done Right. I can appreciate the charm and laid back feel of this OG diner. I drive past it often and always wondered?greeted warmly by staff, attended to promptly, the food was hot and tastee lol! I especially loved the option to playmusic of my choice at the table! I originally wanted a waffle, but was told the French toast is good, and a side of home frieswith onions. Would post a pic, but I was crushing it before I thought to do so?it?s important to support local,family/independently owned businesses or the corps will really take over, support the American dream
Came in today to use the restroom, the owner told me there is no public bathroom so I would have to make a purchase, cool. I ordered fries, and handed over my card to the manager, a short Caucasian male.He then walked to the kitchen with my card. Noticing that, I called to him to bring my card back to the front and told him for the future it 's not ok to go to the back with customers card, he told me I won 't tell him how to run his business then advised me he could stop the fries. Upon leaving, I was told the guy 's a heroin addict on withdrawal. BEWARE!
Tastee Diner is a nice little diner I between the North and Southbound lanes of US-1 North of Laurel, MD. It has a nice atmosphere with many regular locals. I was greeted as soon as I entered,and served coffee shortly after sitting down (oh, BTW the coffee is delicious! . I tried the international omelet with fried potatoes, a short stack of pancakes (they have sugar-free syrup , iced tea, and a biscuit. The food was very good, and listening to the banter between the customers was fun. Overall a great experience, which means I will be back.

I was in town for my birthday had a great dinner last night (not here). This morning decided to do breakfast before leaving. It?s tiny tucked in the corner. Very nice people great serivce. The food was awesome if I?m back this way again I will beback. We ordered 2 Western Omelets with cheese 2 OJ?s our bills was $25.86. Awesome deal for me. Enjoy yours as we did ours.
I loved everything about this place. From the time I walked in until I walked out! Food was great best home fries and egg whites I ever taste ? thanks John for having my bacon nice and crisp and thank you Ms Patt for the warm welcome feeling.. coming from Philly here God bless ??
The Tastee diner is a quiet little place just off the main road. The food, coffee and service are good and you can play a few games of Keno while you enjoy your meal. It's a clean place and the food is served quickly. There's plenty of parking and theprecis are reasonable.
Food was excellent and very friendly service. Steak and eggs cooked perfectly. Steak was nice and thick not paper thin like some places. Bacon crispy not rubber. REAL pancakes not the microwave hind!!

Quaint little nostalgic restaurant. A lot of regulars hang out there. Food was ok but could have been better. Portions were nice sized but the home fries were just boiled and bland. Not a bad place.
Great drive-in breakfast options. The place is clean and offers excellent customer service.
