We made our dinner order at 5.25 by phone where we told we would wait an hour and ten minutes. At 6.45 (with the food being 5 minutes late) my husband rang to ask how long our food would be and was told it would be another fifteen minutes. 20 minutes later with still no delivery my husband had to ring again to be told our food would be yet another 20 minutes. After the food finally arrived the mushroom rice my husband ordered was no where to been found and instead there was a rice full of peas and onions. After spending around 5 to 10 minutes picking out peas (which my husband hates) we finally sat down to eat our meals which by that point were cold. So to conclude we waited over 2 hours and...
We decided to try this takeaway after reading good reviews. Ordered what we normally have, so we could compare against usual takeaway. Ordering online was easy and quick. Prices were 30% more expensive against what we pay from 2 local takeaways, but if the quality was better it wasn’t an issue. My wife complained that her chicken curry was watery and tasteless, the Bombay aloo side dish was bland with no kick. My chicken madras curry was extremely watery, the sauce drained through the rice to the edge of the plate, leaving the chicken uncovered in sauce, no heat from the sauce or chicken. Normally great service but something was clearly wrong today. Forgot my onion bhajis and rice was freezing. Took an hour to get through to them, they did offer to send bhajis but by this point the original delivery was over half an hour late another hour trying to contact them I’d given up on eating completely. I think we will be looking for a new business to support as this one clearly cannot cope. Very disappointed I didn’t bother even eating as main thing I wanted was the bhajis that they could happily take money for but not deliver.
I ordered a tikka masala after work and picked it up. When I opened it up after arriving home , I thought that I’d been given a chicken korma instead. As I started to eat it , I came to realise that it tasted very watery, and had to put a coffee coaster under the plate so the water drained to one side . The onion Bhaji’s had thick clumps of raw flour on them, I will not EVER order anything from them again. Réservez une table maintenant
