We ordered takeout last night. The salt and pepper ribs were excellent, the duck and mushrooms were very good but we wished the mushrooms were Chinese mushrooms. The beef with cumin and coriander was very spicy, and the beef in pepper sauce was also delicious. They gave us free prawn crackers and the egg fried rice was good. The portions were generous, the food was well cooked, and the prices were cheap and delivery was prompt. This is now my go-to Chinese takeaway. If the owners are reading this, I suggest adding more specials to the menu and serving food that you would eat at home. Thank you for a delicious meal last night! Yum!
I recently returned to the northern region for a week and had a strong desire for good Chinese food. I found exactly what I was looking for and was extremely impressed. I chose dishes from the Szechuan section and they did not disappoint. The food was incredibly delicious, with a perfect balance of flavors, freshness, texture, and seasoning. I highly recommend this place and can't wait to try more dishes from the menu. The pork belly with chili was amazing, and the XO fried rice was so good that I would leave my wife for it (if I had one). Thank you so much for a wonderful dining experience.
Excellent food and attentive service. We shared salt and pepper ribs to start. They were so tasty that I didn’t remember to take a photo until there was only one left! Next we shared a special curry and yung chow fried rice. The chicken in the curry was so succulent and soft as was the beef. Portion sizes were generous and even though we shared a main and a starter we didn’t quite eat it all. Prices are reasonable and the house white wine was unusually good.
Loved the Tasty Wok, we were the only 2 non Asian people in this fantastic, very full restaurant which speaks volumes for the quality of the food. I'd book in advance as they are very popular and turned people away while we were there on a Saturday night. We got the set meal for 2 and this came to £50 with wine. Very reasonable, very tasty, very friendly, very good service, very happy customers.

Ordered takeaway from Uber eats to be delivered at 6-6:30pm, restaurant confirmed the order and it said they were preparing our food. Then at 6:15 they cancelled our order with no explanation. Won’t be using them again. Really disappointed!
The food never arrived. Rang them up and they said they would get another order out. After this we waited outside for 40 minutes in the rain, rang them up again and they said they didnt make the food and wouldn't send it out.
I have a serious allergy to Peppers but this Chinese really takes my allergy seriously. Finally I can eat Chinese Food again. Delicious, huge portions and perfectly timed delivery with Uber Eats. Yum
I have visited this restaurant several times and the food is amazing. It is cooked fresh and very authentic. The staff is fantastic and helpful. I will definitely be coming back as a monthly treat.

Stumbled upon this place and wasn’t disappointed. The meal was lovely, but the service was exceptional. Will definitely return, they were doing a lot of takeaways too, so may well try that too.
