Taurus Steakhouse San Carlos

Scrumptious, yummy food, with balanced portions that made me full enough without feeling bloated. We order pork belly, steaks, and sides to share. I really enjoyed the carrots, and love how they sliced our cuts for us. Watching the wagyu being cooked was fun, too. We also had some cocktails, which had really fun cups for each type of drink, and were all pretty delicious, though sweet. I found it interesting that we had to ask for bread service, but I guess it’s not an olive garden or anything so ?. Also, if we got too full on bread I don’t think we’d appreciate the meal as much. Lastly, we shared some cake and I had an Affogato, which I appreciated they had decaf espresso; I didn’t know that...

Food was average, not worth the price. Ambience was too loud with some techno music. Seat cushions worn out. Bathrooms dark, falling apart, soap dispenser torn from wall, paper towels cheap fell apart as you dried your hands. Service was slow, claimed short handed. If planning to charge those prices they need to step it up. Not planning on coming back.

Steaks were great; menu just varied enough to allow a few repeat visits. Sides solid. Service was bad. Drinks slow. Rarely saw our waiter. Long sad pauses between courses. It's Covid, so a grain of salt here, go, expect to overpay, be patient, enjoy the excellent steaks. Support your local businesses.

I think there is a shortage of wait staffs as always have to chase after them..... We enjoyed the food. Hopefully there will be more attentive waiters.,

Not worth money. Mediocre experience. Wouldn't bother going again.
