Wow!!! What a find!!! This was a fantastic place for dinner. Friendly and attentive staff, excellent food, great atmosphere, and the bar was magnificent!! Kudos to both our server and the bartender (she's in one of the pictures, I don't remember her name), they were the greatest!! Took very good care of us, checked on us often, and there are ZERO complaints. Two thumbs up for the Spiced Pear martini, hands down one of the best drinks I've ever had.
I've been here multiple times for lunch meetings over the past year. It's one of the only restaurants in the area open for lunch. The atmosphere is great and the food is fantastic. I have been working my way through the menu and haven't had a bad meal yet. Food is definitely fresh and made from scratch. Buffalo Chicken Avocado Egg Rolls are great and the Tavern Steak Sandwich is a tasty generous portion. Alyssa is also a great bartender!
Nice friendly bar-restaurant, food was very good, service was friendly and attentive. It was a packed house on a Saturday night, with lots of people waiting to be seated (no reservations), glad we got there a little early (6pm). It was a teeny bit loud but not off-putting. Nice variety of menu choices from sandwiches and burgers to salads to more substantial entrees. Great place to enjoy a casual bite with friends and watch the game.
I had a delicious steak lunch at Tavern 292. The 12 oz NY strip was cooked well and came with two sides mac n’cheese and a house salad. I also had an appetizer of nachos, which was seasoned with cheese, beef, and came with side sauces. Everything tasted very good. The staff and service were excellent and the atmosphere was pleasant. There’s nothing more I could ask for. I’d give this place my full recommendation. Réservez une table maintenant
Very nice restaurant! We love the selections, and the tasty, high quality food. We are definitely coming back again. The mussels were very fresh, and the burger was excellent, and cooked exactly to order. They also have a nice selection of fresh salads. We had the California style with delicious portabella and grilled chicken. We came again and again had mussels, baby back ribs and buffalo wings. Delicious!
Let me tell you, our waiter was the best waiter I ever had in my life! Went above and beyond! Funny and very quick! Super down to earth! Also, Their corn bread was sooo good! Warm and fluffy. What we ordered was alright. I’m sure they have other great food on the menu but for me, it was good. Nothing spectacular. But the service was great! And the decor was cozy.
I had a decent dining experience, but it was unfortunately overshadowed by a very rude and judgmental waitress. She seemed more focused on commenting on what the guests were eating rather than actually providing good service. It's a pity, as it could have been a great visit otherwise.
