I hate to leave bad reviews, but I only do if I have service problems. a few months ago we sat the next in the bathroom during the “COVID” nonsense on the bank. on the way back from the bathroom came the waiter return type of rude say: "they must put on a mask on and out of the bathroom" good first use some logs, in the closest to the bathroom nobody gets covid, because I went 5 feet to use the bathroom, second all sitting, without eating masks, so it is just nonsense. if there is a thing they can expect from tavern to main, it is resistant. eating is consistently delicious and takeout is never what they demand. Every time I order, something is wrong. either something that is normally included or something that I ordered extra on the side. or something that is usually on the side is not on the side, something that should be on the side for an extermination order. I usually call back and let them know that my order was wrong and I offered a discount or come to see what they forgot, but I should not that every time. so eating is good, but always unconsistent, which is very frustrating as a customer. My daughter goes to URI and we are always looking for good places to take her out for dinner, and we decided to go to Tavern on Main. The place was nice but we immediately noticed that the service was awful. We waited for our waitress for a long time. When we placed our order the waitress took a long time to tell us that they didn't find it, so our meal was delayed, and we were served later. I would have walked out but I didn't want to upset my daughter. Management did not seem to care about the delayed order. The waitress was not that good. The food was decent but expensive, too expensive for the type of food served. This is one place that we will not be returning.

the service was terrible and eating was expensive, but decent. our order was forgotten and served lately. the management was not concerned about the delay. we often visit our daughters who go to school in the uri and we are always looking for good restaurants, and now we have found one that we will never eat there again.

amazing eating and drinking. very friendly, competent and friendly staff. really cozy atmosphere. a little expensive, but they pay good price for good quality. I recommend the honey-three chicken breast, three cheese tattoos and spicy grilled garnels.
