Tavern On North

Had dinner here with a friend on Wednesday evening. Drinks selection is good but I was disappointed when the Old-Fashioneds that he and I ordered only filled the glasses 3/4 of the way. I get that you don't want the glass filled to the brim because you don't want your server to spill it when he or she brings it to the table but I honestly felt like we were being slightly ripped off. We ordered a Drunken Ginger Man after dinner, and it was very good and did not have this issue. Food was good. We shared some nachos and salsa. Salsa was a little hotter than we both like it. We also shared two of the large meatballs and both agreed that they were very tasty. By that time we were fairly full and decided not to order entrées so he had a bowl of chili and I had the small portion of the chopped salad.Service was good. Parking was difficult because it's hard to get into the parking lot. We had no idea that there was more parking behind the restaurant. Would've been helpful if we knew that. We both ended up pulling into the entrance by the liquor store to the left of the restaurant and had to go back out onto North Avenue and do a U-turn in order to get into the restaurant parking lot. Next time we're in this area, we will probably stop in for a drink before we go to Firewood BBQ. Easier access to their parking lot. Better menu. But sadly, they don't serve alcohol.

This is defiantly an adult hang out very great atmosphere to have a great night out we order their pizza crispy and cheesy the flavors were just right for every bit the drinks and prices were just right had so much fun !!!!

the steak sandwich is on the right side of the average. it comes with cheese green paprika and swirling. with the BBQ sauce it was better, but still the steak.

on a Thursday night from strats. they love their kartoffel salad, blt, wobble rings and cheese sandwich. Apart from these, I also ordered her chili soup.

this place could not her eye out from outside, but the inner is charming, the eating is delicious, and the service is excellent. I ordered a zöliakie.
