We called to place an order before the kitchen closed. We were told the only way we could do that and still eat there is to order take out. That 's fine. So we take the dogs because they are dog friendly. Upon arrive we were told that they don 't allow dogs, the manager Bob said there 's already another dog on the patio and I don 't want them to start being dogs . Bob then took our take out food and yelled at their employees to put it on plates, despite them telling us we had to do takeout. This place is supposedly dog friendly unless Bob is there.
Sadly, service was slow; we didn't receive our first drinks until 30 minutes after being seated, and the appetizers took about 50 minutes to arrive. Our side of potatoes for the entrees came out just 15 minutes before the entrees themselves, and the mushrooms we ordered didn't arrive until after we were done eating. The food was good, but the overall experience was disappointing. On a positive note, they did comp our first round of drinks due to the seating issue, which was a nice touch. Overall, it wasn't the most pleasant dining experience.
I discovered this restaurant through Google reviews, but unfortunately, I was not very satisfied with the food. It really lacked flavor for my taste. We started with the spinach dip, which was probably the most flavorful part of the meal. I had high hopes for the braised short rib pasta, but it didn’t meet my expectations. On a positive note, the service was friendly and very accommodating. We visited on a Saturday night, and the place was fairly empty, making it easy to get a table.
Tavern on point should get a disturbing the peace violation for the atrocious music they BLAST. We were intended to come here for dinner and as we approached I realized why my ears felt like they were bleeding. It sounds like you’re in a forever 21 with just speakers everywhere and really deep base house music. We’re 5 places away and we can still hear it.

This place is 1/2 amazing 1/2 unreal they play sports don’t up charge you without letting you know which is superb…great word if i don’t say so myself (thanks mom dad for sending me to the best schools) but enough about me, i highly recommended coming here to eat, drink, being merry!!
We had so much fun Saturday during the day at the Tavern. The food is super delicious, great cocktails, AMAZING service. The food came out super fast and Lola drink was bomb! There was House Music party and we had so much fun, great tunes and great vibes.
First time visitor. Came to enjoy a college football game. Lots of TVs. Fun atmosphere. Had the fish tacos, very tasty and could feed an army (big portions). Very friendly service. Thanks guys for the evening TotP Team.
Five stars all around! This place has excellent food and and wide variety of musical entertainment. The filet sliders and wings are delicious.

The upstairs patio and event space are fantastic. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming.
