Taverna Georgios - Réservation de table

I ate here this evening. No. 1 the food was excellent but no. 2 the two lady waitresses had unbelievable hospitality. The menu is in German and the waitress went through and explained as much as I wanted in English which was very helpful. Then there were the numerous complimentary items I received on the house! The whole experience was brilliant value for money and I could not recommend here enough. The waitress even recommended some further travel ideas for tomorrow since I am backpacking and have no plans on where to go next. Many thanks to the two waitresses who really made it!

We had a long weekend in Bamberg,, whilst on an exploratory visit as our daughter is living/studying there from sept and found this place via web, we were made very welcome we asked about a table latter that evening , there is an out door eating area, which was most welcome as it was very warm.If your German is basic or non existent , there is young German lady working there with excellent English , who really goes the extra mile to explain the menu. Our food was excellent , service excellent , and very reasonably priced , we will most certainly be back !!!!

We came late and with no reservation, as we were just passing by and looked on tripadvisor for a recommendation. Even though the kitchen was already overstretched as they had a lot more guests than anticipated, they made a space for the three of us and the staff couldn't have been more friendly. Ella runs the show and knew everybody. The food was so good!! They made it work and we felt spoilt.

We were here on December 31, 2016. We enjoyed the warm and welcoming service and the great atmosphere of Taverna Georgios. The service was great! We don't speak German very well, but thankfully, the staff does! They ensured that we had a delicious meal, and made our experience even better with amazing food! Réservez une table maintenant

in the tavern it is something different than standard Greek, it is more family and individual. the foods are varied and I even find something delicious to eat as a vegan.

Excellent genuine Greek kitchen with a wonderful staff. The atmosphere is homely and the food all hand made. It is like a short holiday among friends
